| Top 10 Things to do While You're Doing
Yassos (at 5:30 am) |
Drum Roll . . .
#10. Marvel at the full moon. Howl a little if you want. If you have to be awake,
others should be too right?
#9. Play a football game with your water bottle. Every time you run a Yasso,
move it up 10 yards. It helps you to remember
how many you have run,
and when you are finished you can run it in for
a touchdown,
and then kick it over the goal post for an
extra point.
#8. Try to hit the same pace for every 800. Not too slow, not too fast,
JUUUSST RIGHT!
#7. Fantasize about actually hitting that time in hours and minutes when you
cross the finish line at your marathon. Boston Baby!
#6. Alternate directions for each Yasso that you run (counterclockwise and
then clockwise). It is good for your legs and gives
you a different
perspective of the area around you.
#5. Observe the wild life (when the cat underneath the bleachers scares the
crap out of you).
#4. Plow over the only other guy out there, who insists on walking in the first
lane (ok........not really, but one can dream
can't they?)
#3. Impress the football team when they come out and turn on the lights. Ok,
well maybe the high school kids won't care, but the
coaches might think
you are pretty cool, fast, hot, etc...........
#2. Oops! Concentrate on your pace, not too slow, not too fast.............
#1. Come up with a silly list for your friends who have not done there Yasso's
yet ! (Ha Ha!) |
